Rivian Opens the R1T Footage Vault Ahead of Deliveries

With deliveries of its highly anticipated R1T electric pickup truck and R1S electric SUV just a few months away, Rivian has continued to deliver when it comes teasers of its adventure vehicles.

In the race to see who will bring the first all electric pick-up truck to market, the Rivian R1T is arguable one of the most anticipated, whether comes first or not.

Rivian unveiled the final production specs, price, and features for the R1T last year and is on track to be officially launch this summer. First deliveries of the electric pickup are slated to begin in June, which will be followed shortly after by the automaker’s electric SUV, the R1S.

On its journey to becoming possibly the first electric pickup truck on market, Rivian has not disappointed in the footage department. The automaker has supplied its fan base with tons of pre-production prototype testing footage leading up to its launch and is continuing to do so.

Last week, the automaker posted a short teaser via Twitter that was sure to whet anyone’s appetite:

Yesterday, Rivian struck again with another brief teaser video from Rivian CEO, showcasing the pickups center display an navigation screen:

The Launch Edition R1T will be the first version to see deliveries and has a starting price of $75,000. The base “Explore” version R1T starts at $67,500 but isn’t expected to be available until next year. Both vehicles have a claimed range of over 300 miles. Shorter range and longer range battery options are expected to be made available later.
