As we can see in the previous article about SK Innovation, the battery maker’s ban will not hols back the launch of the Ford F-150 Electric program for four years. The same can be said about the Volkswagen ID.4 (MEB) program for two years. But nothing was said about the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
Hyundai planned to use SK Innovation battery cells (NCM 811), and now it may be banned from the U.S, and the launch of its new vehicle is so close that it may be detrimental to delay.
