The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed the official range results for all four version of the all-new 2021 Mustang Mach-E. The four version include Standard Range RWD, Standard Range AWD, Extended Range RWD and Extended Range AWD.
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Select SR (75.7 kWh) RWD received a combined range of 230 miles (370 km) and energy consumption of roughly 337 Wh/mile (209 Wh/km). Official notes from the EPA noted that the range was voluntarily lowered from 273 miles. Interestingly enough, all of the Mach-E models received similar notes, reaffirming the preliminary values were set with a several mile reserve.
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Select SR (75.7 kWh) AWD, with its heavier powertrain, is set with a combined range of 211 mi (339 km) and energy consumption of about 362 Wh/mi (225 Wh/km). Like the RWD version, the EPA provided additional notes that state the range was voluntarily lowered from 216 miles.
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium ER (98.8 kWh) RWD will feature a combined range of 300 mi (483 km) and energy consumption of roughly 347 Wh/mi (216 Wh/km). Additional notes from the EPA reported the range was voluntarily lowered from 303 miles.
Lastly, the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium ER (98.8 kWh) AWD has a combined range of 270 mi (434 km) and energy consumption of roughly 374 Wh/mi (233 Wh/km giving it the worst efficiency of the four. The the range was voluntarily lowered from 276 miles according to the additional notes provided by the EPA.
