This could be the new reality from now on; the Chineses startup always had this great idea, convenient for now since it could help people reduce the general anxiety in this coronavirus pandemic.
The name the startup gave to the new device is CARL, a small robot that you can summon via the app. The driver with the app requests the charge, and then the robot rolls over the car and plugins. The setup requires the driver to pull up alongside the charging station anyway, but it is much easier than the “snake” charger Tesla teased in 2015.
Electrify America expressed quite an interest in this robot technology.
