Today we can find in the manufacturer’s offer the models Renegade (B-SUV), Compass (C-SUV), Cherokee (D-SUV), Grand Cherokee (E-SUV), Wrangler (pure off-road) and Gladiator (pick-up version of the Wrangler), to which we should add the Grand Commander (E-SUV) sold exclusively in China.
This complete range will be joined next year by the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer (F-SUV), while in 2022, the brand will launch an A-SUV designed to rival the successful fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny. Besides, this complete range will be electrified in record time.
According to the global president of the firm, Christian Meunièr, Jeep will become “the most ecological SUV brand in the world.” Also, according to the manager, the Jeep hybrids will become the best in the range as they will be faster and more capable than their combustion alternatives. Of course, there will also be 100% electric models.
By 2022, Jeep will launch a total of 10 plug-in hybrids (starting with a PHEV version of the Wrangler) that will cover all segments from A to F, as well as four pure electric ones. At the moment, it is only known that the Renegade will be one of the models that will be fully electrified, while the other electric models will be located in segments C and D.
