Tesla surpassed Wall Street estimates for fourth-quarter vehicle deliveries driven by demand for the Model 3 mass-production sedan. The American automaker delivered a total of 112,000 vehicles in the Q4, reaching the sales goal that Musk set, an increase of 45% to 65% compared to 2018.
In 2019, Tesla delivered approximately 367,500 electric vehicles, an impressive 50% increase comparing to the previous year. This morning, Tesla´s shares jumped by about 5% showing how the deliveries numbers can show the performance of the company.
The electric-car maker will continue to focus on expanding production both in the U.S. and China, where the company can produce 3,000 units per week.
