The German automaker is having some difficulties with its electric car software. According to a report, the ID3 will be built without complete software that could be distributed to almost 20,000 electric vehicles that will be sold in Europe, not in the US.

Later, the new software will be installed manually for the first 10,000 ID3s. The ID3 is offered in different variants with between about 185 and 300 miles in the generous WLTP cycle.

The automaker is committed to set up the new software, the main point is to let the software run with some problems with the high numbers of reservations and the date of deliveries.
