The German company claimed in an interview that the Mini Cooper SE has achieved over 45,000 reservations.
The brand new electric vehicle by BMW will come to the market in March 2020 with the price around 36,000 dollars (32,000 euro). However, the specs are not that incredible.
It has a motor of 184hp and 270nm of torque, while the battery has a fast charging feature that fuels 80% of it in only 35 minutes. It is a 50kW battery.
According to a report in German magazine Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Elena Eder, project manager for the Mini-e said:
“So far, we already have over 45,000 registered prospects.”
