UK Government Plans to Have Charging Points in All of its New Houses

The main idea is to, from now on, build houses with an alternative charging spot for the EVs.

Due to the crescent amount of Electric Vehicles on the market, the UK government is unveiling a project where new houses will have a parking space to charge the vehicle. This new feature would be cheaper for drivers.

With a current price of 625 dollars (500 pound sterling), the owners of an electric car can install a charge point at its residence.

Chris Grayling, the secretary of transport, stated:

“You can simply plug your car in to charge overnight as you would a mobile phone.” The secretary said that resolutions like these are a response of “an appetite for cleaner transport.”

The EV growth is happening all over the world and assisting this transition, it is essential for governments to help future customers and the population. Should this happen in other places in the world? Tell us in the comments.
