The all-electric vehicle by Scania has the purpose of getting the commuters to work and back.
With constant additions to the EV market, urban transportation is changing to a more clean version of itself.
This future has now one more competitor, Scania. The vehicle revealed at UTIP Global Public Transport Summit can work as a bus, distribution truck, and refuse collector. These different options of service are a benefit to communities.
The bus is 80m long module is built to have less weight. The cylindrical cell batteries are placed under the floor so that this weight is better distributed. The range can reach 245 km.
The growing All-Electric transportation system tends to take over the streets, but what Scania did on thinking how these transports can be used in different ways and not only in commuting is impressive.
