Air, that’s the name of the first mass production car made by Lucid Motors. Its a Sedan with 400 miles of range and 1,000 horsepower.
The Silicon Valley startup showed today the car that will compete with the Tesla S. The luxury premium vehicle will have dual electric motors one in each axle, just like some Tesla models like the S P100D. We are going to be able to choose between a model with 100 kWh or one with astonishing 130kWh, the most powerful one with have the battery that was designed in conjunction with Samsung.
If you want one, you are going to need to make a of deposit of $2,500. If you want your car to be one of the first 225 cars to leave the factory all you need to do is to put down $25,500 as a deposit.
Judging by the pictures released by the auto maker, the car have a modern look, but nothing futuristic about it. The solar roof is a nice addition and the tails and head lights gives a distinctive look to the car.
